Review (November 2008) - OtterBox
By Kevin Nakano
Otterbox has been producing innovative cases since 1996. Their product line has evolved over the years and with the introduction of so many PDA/smartphones, Otterbox has come up with a solution for protecting these fragile mobile devices. The company offers cases for many of the popular products including the iPhone, Palm, BlackBerry, and HP. The new OtterBox for BlackBerry® 8800, 8820 and 8830 (World Edition) Defender Series provides three layers of protection for users while looking stylish and remaining completely functional. The sturdy case protects from bumps, scratches and even moderate drops. The best part is all of the functions remain fully usable through the case. The large open area for the keyboard allows the user to type without being overly restricted. The lower portion of the keyboard is the toughest to use with the raised lip on the bottom of the case. This case also includes a holster style belt clip for carrying convenience. In addition, OtterBox has made it very easy to install and remove the device as needed.
